Last night iconic Chanel designer, Karl Lagerfeld, launched his pop-up shop in London’s Selfridges store. The highly anticipated event launched the new line aimed at a ‘cosmopolitan and digitally-savvy clientele’ KARL (Man + Woman) and the premium line KARL LAGERFELD PARIS (Man), plus a limited edition capsule collection exclusively for Selfridges customers.
The man himself didn’t disappoint, appearing in in his signature black ensemble with a starched white collar. He arrived fashionably late, to check out the shop windows on Oxford Street before heading in store to unveil his collections. Celebrations continued into the night on Selfridges’ rooftop, where The Kills’ Allison Mosshart took over the DJ decks as the sun set over London. Members of the press sipped cocktails alongside huge fashion names Mario Testino, Daphne Guinness, Poppy Delevigne, Josephine de la Baume and Bip Ling.
